Here's me at the One World Theatre, sweatin' up a storm and warming up the attendees of a Keller Williams benefit, which was headlined by Kenny Loggins (who was incredible; what a voice he has!).

This photo is one of the many rebuilt homes right near the Gulf coastline. Almost all of them look like this, raised way up on stilts, as if in a state of readyness for the next hurricane....very sobering.

Since we played at the church service Sunday morning, I don't have any photos of that. But I snapped this cute photo of Clint and Caroline walking up the aisle after church (which was held this Sunday in their fellowship hall instead of the usual sanctuary). I also snapped one of them in Clint's office.

This is a pic of Nick and Robby at the Hurricana Memorial in the oceanside park in Pascagoula, showing the three recorded flood levels. It is staggering what this town went through.

Welcome to Pascagoula

Change of scenery.....!!

A few of us from church embarked on a lil' "mission trip" of sorts, to lead worship at Clint's church in Pascagoula, Mississippi on the Gulf Coast...one of the many areas ravaged by Hurricane Katrina. The town is bouncing back, but the whole area still shows signs of the damage.

Emmitt!

Got to see Emmitt Smith tonight; Funky Brass had a gig in McAllen TX, at a private gala benefit where Emmitt was the guest speaker. Whenever he spoke of his days with the Dallas Cowboys, the men would applaud, and whenever he talked about appearing on "Dancing With the Stars", the women would scream....pretty funny. They auctioned off a dance with Emmitt, and we played "Smooth" for Emmitt and the lucky winner to dance to. (I don't have any pics of that, since we were onstage playing!)

Go Colts!

Here I am with family in North Carolina watching the Indianapolis Colts whoop the Chicago Bears 29-17 in the Super Bowl! WOO HOO! (mom took this picture)
It was very gratifying to see the Colts finally get to the Super Bowl (and win!). I've been a fan since '94 when Marshall Faulk and Jim Harbaugh debuted with the Colts, so there's been many heartaches over the years as the Colts would get knocked out of the playoffs again and again. Finally it was great to see my fave team get to the Big Dance.
