This evening I sat in and played backup for a couple songs at Mark Lennon-John Vester's House Concert, which was fun. I also opened the show with a few of my own songs. Thanks to Nancy for hosting this fabulous event.
Played a gig this evening with Mark Lennon (from the group Venice) and John Vester, outside at the Y Bar & Grill. I backed Mark up on keyboard and guitar on several solo songs when he wasn't singing with John, and sat in on one of their duo tunes. It was a very enjoyable gig, and a warm up to tomorrow night's house concert!
There are rarely any photos depicting it, but I play every Sunday morning at a church in Westlake Hills. We play for the contemporary service. Here the drummer Pauly snapped a pic of me during a Saturday morning rehearsal.
